After getting benched just a week ago, the Cleveland Browns have already turned the keys to the left tackle spot back over to Greg Robinson.

After losing his starting job to Justin McCray just a week ago, left tackle Greg Robinson is slated to regain his status as a starter for the Cleveland Browns today. ESPN’s Josina Anderson broke the news via Twitter today, as quarterback Baker Mayfield will now have Robinson guarding his blindside against the Denver Broncos.

McCray struggled mightily against the New England Patriots in his first start at left tackle for the brown and orange a week ago with Robinson on the bench. According to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), McCray graded as the 147th overall offensive lineman in week eight out of 152 qualifying players with a pass blocking grade of 22.5.

While Robinson is just the newest edition of the Browns shuffling of their offensive line, there is still no news on the right guard position and whether Wyatt Teller has taken over the job full time from Eric Kush. Last week the two seemingly alternated series for the Browns with the hope of seeing who was the better fit.

It was apparent that Teller was much better than Kush, but does the coaching staff agree? One thing is for sure: the Browns have been unable to build any chemistry and continuity along their offensive front.

Sixth round pick Drew Forbes has also been activated from injured reserve and could be in the mix to take over on the right side of the line, at guard or tackle. Get used to the news of shuffling along the offensive front, as it appears it is far from over.

Greg Robinson benched for McCray, Teller and Kush alternating, McCray benched for Robinson. With only Joel Bitonio and J.C. Tretter as consistent forced along the Cleveland offensive line, there may continue to be news regarding benchings up front.
