Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns came up short again, this time against the Denver Broncos; here are the week nine studs and duds.

Another week has passed, and the Cleveland Browns have tallied another loss to their record. Barring a 7-1 finish to the season, the 2019 year seems like a wash for the brown and orange and for Baker Mayfield and the entire 53 man roster in Cleveland.

While the prize has always been on 2020, nobody could have seen this 2019 season unraveling the way that it has. Now sitting at 2-6, the Browns have a 2018 Indianapolis Colts-sized hole to dig themselves out of if they want to have any hope of sniffing the postseason; don’t hold your breath though or you may suffocate yourself.

The harsh reality is: if the Browns cannot beat the Denver Broncos, who are starting their backup quarterback, then this team is nowhere near ready to become a serious contender in the National Football League.

Talk all you want, just as everyone did this offseason, but the Browns are an undisciplined, inexperienced, young group who does not yet know how to win at the professional level.

While the Browns still have eight games to salvage their season, they are better off playing for a better draft slot at this point after proving that they cannot even beat a mediocre football team like the Broncos.

Anyway, here are the stud and duds from Sunday’s game in Denver that saw the Browns come away as losers yet again.
