It has been a tale of two seasons for the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills. The Browns have not lived up to expectations and the Bills are better than we all thought. Here are some matchups to look for as they face one another.

Many Cleveland Browns fans are beginning to look towards the draft after losing to the Denver Broncos and first-time starter Brandon Allen last week. They fall to third place in the division and the road to the playoffs for them is almost impossible but they can still get some good victories and head coach Freddie Kitchens can try to show he has the ability to do the job.

They get a very good Buffalo Bills team who play more like a team from 20 years ago. The Bills play tough defense and run the ball down your throat. It has worked for them this season as they stand at 6-2. They have done it with a combination of players including Frank Gore, who is the oldest running back in the league and rookie Devin Singletary. Josh Allen is also a very dynamic running quarterback.

Buffalo’s defense has been one of the best in the league, period. It is not a defense full of big names but they are fast and they all fly to the football. They’re led by linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, a name you may not know but should.

Edmunds is long and fast giving him the ability to play sideline to sideline and if he gets his hands on you he is going to finish the tackle. He’s backed up in the secondary by safety Jordan Poyer and cornerback TreDavious White.

This unit is going to make it tough on Baker Mayfield and the Browns offense who have struggled lately. They will get Kareem Hunt back this week so hopefully, he can take some of the load off of Nick Chubb.

It will be strength on strength between these two teams, I would not expect very many passing yards. But there will be a lot of tough running and hard-hitting.
