As the offensive and defense line both got exposed in the loss to the Broncos, it becomes imperative for the Browns to use premium assets in the trenches.

After dropping to a record of 2-6, the Cleveland Browns are teetering on the brink of collapsing in on themselves; this means draft content will become more and more prevalent. At this point in the season, the Browns have the seventh pick in the draft based off of The Draft Network’s mock draft machine.

With the seventh pick in the Browns can grab elite talent, more than likely to bolster their trenches, specifically on the offensive side of the ball. While the offensive line is not to blame for all of Baker Mayfield’s struggles in his second season, the struggles at left tackle, right guard, and right tackle have not helped him at all either.

Eric Kush, Greg Robinson, and Chris Hubbard are not cornerstones to build off of, and even Wyatt Teller did not look promising in his first start at the right guard spot either in last week’s collapse against the Denver Broncos. The offensive line is far from the Browns’ only need, however, as they have been subpar at multiple spots.

The defensive line, the third level of the defense, and the tight end position (yes, David Njoku is expected back soon) have all been problems for the brown and orange in their underwhelming 2019 season as well. They look to address all of those holes here.
