Thomas, out of the University of Georgia is an absolute stud, and is the most polished pass blocker that can be found in this year’s draft class. The ability to land him would be a tremendous windfall for the Browns as he would immediately upgrade the left side of their line over Robinson.
An All-American from a year ago, Thomas is well on his way to earning the same honors again this year for the sixth-ranked Bulldogs. The 6-5 and 320 pound Thomas may not be the most athletic tackle, like that of a Tristan Wirfs, but he definitely has the highest floor and is the safest, most pro-ready prospect there is.
Baker Mayfield rejoices as the Browns add him some much-needed secret service and protection off of the edge. Cleveland lands the white whale and the sixth overall prospect on TDN’s big board in Thomas with the seventh overall pick.
