It’s official, unfortunately. The Cleveland Browns are entering ‘unmitigated disaster’ territory, as they currently stand at 2-6. What can Baker Mayfield and the Browns do to salvage their season against the Bills in Week 10?

It should have never come to this, really. There was no reason for the Cleveland Browns to ever be in this position, this season, at this time of the year. And yet, here we are. Currently, the Browns stand at 2-6 with only eight games to go until the end of the year. 2-5 through the first eight games was unexpected, but ultimately, a possible outcome due to the tough schedule that the Browns played. 2-6, however, is unacceptable.

The Browns are quickly entering territory that, while uncharted, ultimately feels familiar in the Dawg Pound. With all the talent in the world, the Browns have been disappointing this year. There is, unlike other years, no saving grace to fall back on and say “well, yeah, but…” because this felt like the year where everything was supposed to click into place. Even John Dorsey, one of the Browns’ best-ever hires at the general manager position, is being questioned by fans.

Coming off of a disastrous loss to a Broncos team that didn’t even have Joe Flacco at quarterback, the Browns are very quickly running out of time to kick it into gear. This is no longer about the Super Bowl, or the AFC Championship, or even a good showing in the playoffs. This is backs up against the wall, show up or shut up. This is about saving the season.

And this is how they do it. This is our blueprint for a Week 10 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
