Game: Buffalo Bills (6-2) at Cleveland Browns (2-6)

Summary: No one expected the Cleveland Browns to come out as flat as they did this past Sunday against the Denver Broncos. That one really felt like their chance to turn things around but that simply didn’t happen. Instead, they continued to struggle and allowed the Broncos to win despite Brandon Allen being under center for his first career start.

What was most frustrating was the way they fell apart at the end with a chance to win still there. However, a fourth-down pass from Baker Mayfield fell incomplete as he tried to force a ball to Jarvis Landry when he should have been looking at Odell Beckham, Jr.

OBJ is now understandably frustrated and the team needs to realize he isn’t angry because he’s a diva, but rather due to the fact he’s being misused. If they do understand that, they might finally start getting him the ball the way they should be, unfortunately, this week doesn’t look to be the game where he will break out.

The Buffalo Bills are great against the pass, but their defense isn’t perfect. They’ve had some problems against the run this season and the Browns are a good running team with Nick Chubb. They’ll also have Kareem Hunt on the field for the first time this season.

If they play their cards right, those two can control the clock with their running prowess and that will help OBJ and Landry get free on some play-action passes. Sadly, nothing in their game plan has shown they understand how to use the run to set up the pass. This one could be ugly.

Prediction: Buffalo 31, Cleveland 16
