3. Rashard Higgins, WR

Ahead of the Browns Week 10 battle with the Buffalo Bills, Rashard Higgins‘ name came up for the wrong reasons. There were reports that he refused to go into the game against the Seattle Seahawks when asked.

All seemed to be just fine though as Higgins was not only on the field against Buffalo, but he hauled in the game-winning touchdown which was followed up with his famous red carpet walk.

Before the game, Baker Mayfield made mention of how much faith he has in Higgins. The fourth-year receiver came into this season with high expectations following the rapport he and Mayfield showed in 2018.

A breakout season for Hollywood Higgins consisted of 572 yards on 39 receptions with four touchdowns. Entering Week 10, he had just three receptions on the season and had yet to cross the end zone.

For the majority of the game against the Bills, he continued to be largely ignored. Higgins had no targets at all until the closing moments which was when Mayfield threw the seven-yard dart to one of his favorite targets for the win.

It feels as though Higgins has fallen out of favor with the staff but they need to listen to their quarterback here. If Mayfield trusts him and wants him on the field, then No. 81 should be there. Higgins is clearly a guy John Dorsey needs to keep around — especially considering how little faith they can place in the hands of Antonio Callaway.
