1. Kareem Hunt

If you watched the Browns last week then you noticed number 27, whether he was catching passes out of the backfield on being a lead blocker for Nick Chubb. Kareem Hunt made his long-awaited debut for the Browns after serving an eight-game suspension.

While Chubb is an extremely gifted runner Hunt is much better pass catcher and they put him to work doing just that, he was targeted nine times and had seven catches for 44 yards. He also added 30 yards rushing.

Hunt’s production shouldn’t come as a surprise. Although we may have forgotten about him because he didn’t play for almost an entire season between this year and the end of last season.

But he was the leading rusher in the league in 2017 as a rookie and was on his way to putting up similar numbers last year before he was let go by the Kansas City Chiefs.

He’s a threat out of the backfield and he can also lineup at receiver which makes him more dangerous. He can force a linebacker or safety to follow him out there which can open up the running game for Chubb who is second in the NFL in rushing yards.

If he can draw a player like Devin Bush or Minkah Fitzpatrick to the perimeter Cleveland could really have success running the ball.

There is a simple reason Hunt is a player to watch, he has only played one game so he has fresh legs. He will continue to get more and more work as he works back into football shape.
