Daily Dawg Tags: Brawl overshadows Cleveland Browns Week 11 victory
By Dan Justik
The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including the game ending brawl overshadowing Cleveland’s win.
The Cleveland Browns won their second-straight game after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-7 to move to 4-6 on the season. But despite the needed win for the Browns, it will be overshadowed by the brawl started by Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph.
With only seconds left in the game that was already decided, Garrett and Rudolph each tried to rip each other helmets off. Once Garrett ripped Rudolph’s helmet off and Rudolph continued to go after Garrett, Garrett swung Rudolph’s helmet at the Steelers’ quarterbacks head.
The swinging of the helmet set off other altercations that were also ugly. It was a bad look for both teams, but especially for Garrett. But the chaos will cause Cleveland’s win to be forgotten, which helps put the Browns back on the right track as they attempt to turn the season around.

Cleveland Browns deliver a win they desperately needed – Terry Pluto, Cleveland.com
"For the Browns, it was win this game or watch their record fall to 3-7 with all the negativity that would stick to them probably for the reason of the season. Now, they have won two games in four days…both at home. They beat two teams with strong defenses…Buffalo and Pittsburgh. That means a lot, even if their record is only 4-6."
The Cleveland Browns put themselves behind the eight ball with their 2-6 start to the season and the constant mistakes. But even though their last two games may be described as ugly wins, they were much-needed wins. With an easier schedule during the back half of the season, the Browns can continue to work out the kinks while still having a chance to reach the postseason.
