Round 3: Netane Muti, OG, Fresno State

The offensive line hasn’t only been bad at tackle for the Browns this season. Their guard play has been less than stellar as well, which isn’t a shock considering the developments at the position this year.

John Dorsey traded away Kevin Zeitler in the offseason in exchange for Olivier Vernon, formerly of the New York Giants. They sacrificed some offensive line talent for pass-rushing but part of that was due to their belief that Austin Corbett would develop into a starter.

That never happened as the 33rd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft was deemed a bust and Dorsey sent him to the Los Angeles Rams for a late-round pick. Now, they need to add some talent to that position — and they might need to do so in free agency as well as the draft.

In this mock draft, they use their first of two third-round picks to get some help there, landing Netane Muti out of Fresno State. A highly aggressive lineman, Muti is a good blocker in the run game and has the ability to work in space on pulls. He should help open things up for Nick Chubb and could become a starter right away ‚— something this team can surely use.
