Game: Miami Dolphins (2-8) at Cleveland Browns (4-6)

The Browns always seem to be facing adversity. They come off a big win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. That emotion enough would be enough for an emotional letdown.

To make matters worse, all players suspended in late-game royal rumble have had their appeals heard. With the team facing the Steelers again next week, the Browns are easily tempted to overlook the hapless Miami Dolphins.

More from Browns News

The Dolphins are winners of 2 of their last 3 games. They seem to have found new life under Ryan Fitzpatrick. The former Harvard quarterback will be in a battle of wits with the Browns coaching staff. All of this has the makings of a very long afternoon for the good guys in brown and orange.

The Browns have problems of their own. They will be without all everything Myles Garrett. They will also be without starting defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi. Thus, they will be giving snaps to a lot of defensive linemen who don’t normally see that much action.

These are the times that try a coach’s souls. Freddie’s coaching acumen will be put to the test. Can keep the team focused on one week at a time or will they look ahead to the Steelers?

I will go with my gut on this one. The Browns will struggle throughout the game but pull it out late with a field goal. This will be a big day for Austin Seibert.

Prediction: Browns 24, Dolphins 21
