The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including how the Browns are preparing for antics from the Steelers.

There will be a lot of eyes on the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers Week 13 matchup this upcoming week. Not because it will have a large effect on the AFC playoff hunt, but because the two teams will be taking the field against each other just over two weeks after they had a brawl.

The short time frame between games will certainly cause emotions to run high and there is a good chance there will be some extracurricular activities. Both sides are still likely upset about the brawl, and those emotions will carry into their game December 1.

Knowing this, players from both teams may try to take advantage of those emotions and try to prod the other team into making a dumb penalty. Even if it does not escalate into fighting, there will certainly be some jawing from both teams.

Browns’ Denzel Ward believes the Steelers will try to ‘get you out of character; we just have to stay poised’ – Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland.com

"“I feel it is going to be a heated game,’’ Ward said Monday. “There’s going to be a lot of trash talking. A lot of guys are going to try to get under your skin and do things that get you out of character, but we just have to stay poised and focused on what we are there to do, and that’s win the game.”"

Knowing the high intensity for their upcoming game, it is important the Browns are mentally prepared for everything. Cleveland will need its leaders to step up and keep the team composed during the week and on game day. The Browns are in a must-win situation and cannot allow themselves to make any mistakes they do not need to make.

Cleveland Browns: The Pulse of the Pound

The Cleveland Browns have generated many different fan reactions throughout the 2019 season. Casey Kinnamon went around FirstEnergy Stadium during Sunday’s game against Miami to hear from members of the Dawg Pound.

NFL odds: Steelers are home underdogs vs. Browns for the first time since 1989 – Bryan DeArdo, CBS Sports

"The year was 1989, which also happened to be last time the Steelers were underdogs at home against the Browns until this Sunday. The Browns, who defeated the Steelers in Cleveland two weeks ago, are 1.5-point favorites to defeat the Steelers for a second time this season."

Despite having a worse record than the Steelers, the Browns seem to be in a good position to come out of Pittsburgh with a victory, which is why they are viewed as the favorites. With the Pittsburgh offense in shambles and the Browns having a bunch of momentum, it is understandable why the Browns are the favorites.
