The Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers will meet for the 136th time this coming Sunday. We look at the biggest questions the Browns will need to answer against the Steelers in order to get the victory.

The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers last met on November 14 with the Browns getting a victory on their home field. Now the Browns, winners of three straight games, travel to Heinz Field with their playoff hopes still intact.

The Browns and Steelers are set to collide for the second time in just 17 days. For two teams that just played each other just over two weeks ago, there have been a lot of changes for each franchise.

The Browns will enter this pivotal AFC North showdown without their best defensive player, Myles Garrett, by consequence of the closing seconds of their last encounter. The Steelers have benched what was then their starting quarterback in favor of a rookie with just two starts under his belt. What a difference two weeks can make.

Both teams were able to get a win following their much-maligned Thursday Night Football matchup by beating lesser teams. The Browns victory over their subsequent opponents, the Dolphins, was in a much more convincing fashion than was the Steelers’ squeaking by of a winless Cincinnati Bengals squad. With their postseason hopes on the line, the two bitter AFC North rivals face-off in a game that the NFL would rather you not pay too much attention to.

Originally, this game was supposed to take place on the later slate of Sunday afternoon games with a 4:25 p.m. kickoff. The NFL thought better of the extra eyeballs this game would bring because of how their last encounter ended, so they decided it would be better off buried at the 1 PM time slot. CBS disagreed vehemently and will be broadcasting the game to over 3/4 of the country.

Now, with all the fines and suspensions out of the way, the only thing left to do is play the game. In what is sure to be a physical dawg fight, pun intended, both teams will be looking to force their opponent to bend the knee. The Browns have a clear advantage in the skill positions, and the Steelers can say the same about both lines of scrimmage.

Now, we will look at the biggest questions the Browns will need to answer against this Steelers team if they want to leave Heinz Field with a victory and second place in the AFC North.
