Will the momentum travel?

The Cleveland Browns are making their annual two-hour trek to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers for the second time in 17 days. They will be loading up a bus with players, coaches, and equipment. The question remains, will they be able to bring the momentum they have on the bus with them?

The Browns come into this Week 13 matchup on a three-game winning streak. It’s the first such streak that the Browns have had in five years. However, all three of those wins came at the friendly confines of FirstEnergy Stadium. The true test will be keeping that momentum going by getting a win in a place that the Browns have not won in over 15-years.

If the Browns can keep it rolling, in what will surely be a hostile, if not volatile, environment, they will have truly turned a corner. The additional momentum the Browns stand to gain by getting a win at Heinz Field is something they could propel them into the next level going into the final four games of the season.

Momentum is the greatest X-factor in the history of sports. It can’t be quantified, and it can’t be reproduced on command. There isn’t a better ally to have on your side than Ol’ Uncle Mo.
