Former Ohio State quarterback and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor is reportedly in critical condition after being stabbed in the chest

Terrelle Pryor was a huge star under center for the Ohio State Buckeyes and after trying his hand at the position with the Oakland Raiders, he ended up moving to wide receiver. He then made his way to the Cleveland Browns, where he had a career-year.

Now Pryor is fighting for something much more important than a position on an NFL team as he is reportedly in critical condition after being stabbed in the chest at his Pittsburgh Apartment on Friday Night.

The news was broken by ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter, who shared the horrible story via twitter.

According to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4, authorities have taken an unknown woman into custody after the event.

Pryor was with the Browns in 2015 and 2016 after spending three seasons with the Raiders. He also had stints with the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincinnati Bengals before coming to Cleveland. He never made the active roster for any of those clubs.

In 2016, he had 15 starts and 16 games played for the Browns and was their best wideout. Pryor finished with 77 receptions for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns. Following that breakout season, he landed a one-year $8 million deal with the Washington Redskins.

Unable to recapture the magic he had in 2016, Pryor has since become a journeyman and was with the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills in 2018. He joined the Jacksonville Jaguars this season but was released in September.

Still incredibly popular in Ohio, fans all over the state will surely be sending their thoughts and prayers to Pryor and his family. We at Dawg Pound Daily echo that and are praying for a quick recovery.
