The Browns Have Figured Out Their Backfield

The addition of Kareem Hunt has been nothing short of a blessing for the Browns’ offense. Cleveland’s offensive backfield has totally transformed itself since Week 10 and the debut of Hunt in the orange and brown. And now, it looks as though Cleveland’s duo of running backs is really starting to figure things out.

The trio of Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, and Kareem Hunt is truly something to behold. When things are clicking, they may very well be the league’s best offensive backfield. A lot was made of Cleveland’s talents through the air, and while they have a duo of uber-talented wide receivers, the run game is where Cleveland really shines.

Second-year running back Nick Chubb is on pace for over 1,500 yards on the ground, and Kareem Hunt seems to pick up around seven yards every time he touches the ball. Hunt and Chubb are the future of the Browns’ running backs, and they are both playing at Pro Bowl levels through this stretch of the season.

Mayfield, Chubb, and Hunt can make noise throughout the AFC North once they reach their full potential. Not only that, but they can keep defenses guessing and scratching their heads throughout games and multiple seasons alike.
