The Cleveland Browns lost 20-13 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here are the studs and duds from the frustrating defeat in Week 13.

This was the game we were all looking forward to. The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers were set for their rematch just two weeks after the infamous brawl that led to an indefinite suspension for Myles Garrett.

Cleveland even got off to a fast start, scoring the first 10 points of the game, giving the impression that they were going to run away with this one.

Then, the Steelers turned it on.

Undrafted rookie Devlin Hodges started to hit on some deep passes and Benny Snell, Jr. made some great runs to lead Pittsburgh to a 20-13 win. Now at 5-7, the Browns have seen their faint hopes for a playoff berth all but disappear.

Now, we look back at the frustrating loss and select a few members of the team that stood out with our weekly studs and duds.

Notable dud omissions: Baker Mayfield, Steve Wilks

Both Baker Mayfield and Steve Wilks were both duds in this game but there were so many to go around, they missed the cut. For Mayfield, he continues to play erratically.

One series he has pinpoint accuracy and the next he’s firing the ball too high as it sails incomplete. He also had two turnovers in this game, including the one to Joe Haden that sealed the loss.

Defensive coordinator Steve Wilks also comes under fire as his defense wasn’t prepared for Devlin Hodges. The third-string quarterback had his way with the defense and they couldn’t stop the run.

It’s easy to say the Browns were without a few starters on defense, but the Steelers had JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Conner, and Ben Roethlisberger out of the game. Being shorthanded isn’t a good enough excuse here.
