The Cleveland Browns have a lot of talent on their roster but just need to fill a few holes, which is what they do in this 7-round 2020 NFL Mock Draft
The frustration is real. This season, the Cleveland Browns were supposed to compete for the AFC North title. They added some big pieces including wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson.
That’s just two of the big names brought in this offseason by general manager John Dorsey — who has completely changed this roster since taking over the job in December of 2017.
Still, it hasn’t been enough. Following their frustrating loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland is now 5-7 and all but out of the playoff picture. As frustrating as that is, they still have reasons to be optimistic going into the offseason.
The majority of their young talent is still under contract in 2020. They also have a guy they believe in under center in Baker Mayfield. While he hasn’t been as good this season, everyone saw him perform as a rookie and he was solid during the three-game winning streak that they had heading into Week 13.
With all that being true, the Browns really just need to fill some of their holes — and thankfully there isn’t a whole lot of those anymore. They can take care of that in the 2020 NFL Draft while also adding some much-needed depth as well — and due to the injuries this season, we all know how crucial having depth at every position is.
And with that, we jump right into the Week 14 edition of the Browns 2019 NFL Mock Draft.
