The Cincinnati Bengals record isn’t great this season — in fact, it’s pretty bad at 1-11 —  but that doesn’t mean they don’t have talent on the roster Cleveland needs to watch out for. Right now, one of their best players is their top wide receiver, Tyler Boyd. On the season, Boyd already has 68 receptions for 758 yards and three touchdowns.

He’s not a player that gets deep a lot, evidenced by his 11.1 yards per reception average, but that doesn’t mean he’s not a dangerous player. Boyd is a skilled slot receiver capable of catching multiple passes in a single drive while continually moving the chains.

With so much of the damage he does coming from the slot, Cleveland’s nickel cornerback T.J. Carrie is going to end up matched up one-on-one with him early and often. The veteran defensive back has had his share of highs and lows since joining the team as a free agent last year.

What’s important is he’s shown he can be capable of stepping up and slowing down the opponent’s slot receiver. Cleveland will need him to that in this one since he’s one of the few guys on the Bengals offense that can mess up the Browns plans.
