After taking the No. 1 spot in the 2018 FanSided 250, the Cleveland Browns fell to No. 30 this year while still making it third in the NFL category

Last season, the whole world got to see just how passionate the Cleveland Browns fan base really is. The Dawg Pound came in as the No. 1 team in FanSided’s annual FanSided 250 which ranks the hottest fandoms in the world.

This season, the Browns were once again well represented as they had three showings in the 2019 FanSided 250. This included Odell Beckham, Jr. at No. 81 and Baker Mayfield at No. 62.

However, they took a step back overall as they went from the first overall fan base all the way to No. 30. Of course, they remained second in the NFL just behind the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints (wait, the Saints?).

"”Browns fans have long made the Dawg Pound one of the coolest fan areas in any stadium. The city of Cleveland is identified with it.” — FanSided 250"

It’s hard to argue against the Cowboys fan base because they’re always out there making a bunch of noise. As for the Saints, we only hear from them when they’re mad about a ref missing a pass interference or when Marcus Williams misses a tackle.

Anyway, the 30th overall is also a bit of an eyebrow raiser — especially considering they were first just 12 months ago.

If anything, this fan base has only gotten more passionate and even picked up some hitchhikers along the way. It was also odd that they came in behind Supernatural, Taylor Swift, and BTS (who?) fans.

Oh well Browns fans, guess it’s just more reason for the Dawg Pound to get extra loud.

Next. Who to blame for OBJ’s struggles. dark

Perhaps the rest of the world just needs a reminder of how passionate you are about Cleveland football.
