Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton picked one starter for every NFL team that needs to be replaced. Who did he name for the Cleveland Browns?

At 6-7 entering Week 15, the Cleveland Browns haven’t had the success they hoped for heading into the season. After adding big-name players such as Odell Beckham, Jr. and Sheldon Richardson the Browns were one of the preseason favorites to contend for the AFC North.

Unfortunately, there have been far more growing pains than expected under first-year head coach Freddie Kitchens. While the front office will hope for him to grow as a leader, they also need to add more talent in the coming offseason in order to fill their few remaining holes.

With that goal in mind, Maurice Moton of Bleacher Report looks at what starter the Browns need to replace most. In Moton’s piece, where he looked at every team and identified one starter that needed to be upgraded upon this offseason, he selected Greg Robinson for Cleveland.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

"“The Cleveland Browns re-signed Greg Robinson after a solid 2018 campaign, but he’s struggled through a prove-it season on a one-year deal. According to the Washington Post’s STATs, the 27-year-old allowed 3.5 sacks in 12 contests.” — Moton, Bleacher Report"

Robinson was a huge surprise in 2018 as he took over following the firing of Hue Jackson. With him gone, Freddie Kitchens took over the offense while Gregg Williams was the interim head coach.

Their biggest personnel move was to put Robinson in the lineup as the starting left tackle — and he rose to the challenge. Robinson was part of a line that allowed just five sacks in the final eight games.

However, this was a small sample size and the former No. 2 overall pick had his share of struggles before joining Cleveland — which is why general manager John Dorsey was hesitant to give him a long-term deal.

That looks to be the right call as Robinson has regressed and was even benched in Week 8. He ended up returning to the lineup but still hasn’t looked like the player he was a year ago.

While Moton is right that Robinson isn’t the answer there, their right tackle situation hasn’t been much better. Chris Hubbard has yet to live up to his draft status but he could already be sitting for the rest of the season due to the solid play of Kendall Lamm in Week 14.

Cleveland will surely make some more big moves this offseason and we can all see left tackle is a need. They apparently agree as well, considering they tried to trade for Trent Williams at the deadline this season.

Next. Kendall Lamm should be Browns RT. dark

His is a name to watch in 2020 as there’s a good chance he could be replacing Robinson next year.
