A couple of seasons ago, Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray were teammates at Oklahoma. Mayfield was the starter under center and won the Heisman Trophy while Murray backed him up.

Mayfield was then selected first overall by the Cleveland Browns and Murray took over in Norman. The dual-sport athlete also won a Heisman and then he was taken at No. 1 by the Arizona Cardinals.

Now in Week 15, the two will meet in Glendale, Arizona as the Browns take on the Cardinals. Another layer to this game comes as Kliff Kingsbury is coaching Arizona and he was formerly the coach at Texas Tech while Mayfield was there as well.

The two didn’t part on great terms as Mayfield wasn’t fond of how Kingsbury disregarded him following an injury. That led to him transferring and the rest, as they say, is history.

Now Mayfield will get a chance to get some measure of revenge on his former coach in the late-season showdown.
