The Cleveland Browns are playing host to the hottest team in the NFL when the Baltimore Ravens come to First Energy Stadium on Sunday. The Browns will be looking to put an end to Baltimore’s impressive 10-game winning streak. The Raven’s last loss came at the hands of the Browns way back in week four and they will be looking for revenge. Here are five bold predictions for Sunday’s game.

It feels like a lifetime ago that the Cleveland Browns went into M&T Bank Stadium and put a beating on the Baltimore Ravens to the tune of 40-25. Both teams left that week four contest with a record of 2-2. The Browns punched one of their big brothers right in the kisser and made them look soft.

The offense finally looked like the one we thought we would see coming into the season, and the defense made the Ravens clunky and one dimensional. Just based on that one game, it looked as if one team was trending up as the other was being exposed.

That feeling lasted just over a week. The Browns got shellacked the following Monday, and the Ravens began their domination of the NFL. The Ravens’ second-year quarterback has flourished while the Browns’ second-year signal-caller has struggled mightily. It was every Browns’ fan’s nightmare.

In the 10 games that have passed since their first encounter, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has become the front runner for NFL MVP. He has decimated the league record for rushing yards by a quarterback and is currently eighth in the league in rushing with 1,103 yards. The next closest quarterback has 504 rushing yards.

On top of what Jackson is doing with his legs, he is also leading the league with 33 touchdowns through the air. Jackson is playing with maximum efficiency. While leading the league in touchdowns he is only 25th in attempts. The Browns defense has the tallest of tasks ahead of them this week.

For the Browns to stand a chance against this Ravens team, then the offense getting off to a fast start is imperative. They were able to do just that in their first meeting and it changed the dynamic of the game. That is the only formula to get a victory against the Ravens. If Baltimore can get a lead, then it’s all downhill, literally.

This will be the Browns’ last home game of the season and a win would completely change the outlook on what has been an immensely disappointing 2019 campaign. Here are five bold predictions for Sunday’s matchup versus the Ravens.
