The Cleveland Browns will finish with a losing record but aren’t as far away as it would seem. This 7-round mock draft helps fill their remaining holes.

With the Cleveland Browns officially out of the playoffs following a Week 16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, they now will focus on the offseason and what needs to be done to shore up their issues.

Sure, head coach Freddie Kitchens and the players are still going to focus on their Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals but the front office has to get a head start on figuring out how to fix whatever went wrong in 2019.

Coming into the season, no one expected this team to be 6-9 heading into the final game. After a 5-3 second half, the Browns were able to keep the core of the team together and they then added some serious talent to bolster their roster.

On the defensive line, they added edge rusher Olivier Vernon and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson. At linebacker, they drafted Mack Wilson and Sione Takitaki. In the secondary, there was Morgan Burnett coming in as a free agent signing and Greedy Williams via the draft.

But of course, their prized addition was Odell Beckham, Jr. who joined forces with his best friend, Jarvis Landry and young quarterback Baker Mayfield. Sadly, none of it meshed as the team was a mess on both sides of the ball.

Much of the blame has been heaped on the plate of head coach Freddie Kitchens. General manager John Dorsey and owner Jimmy Haslam will need to figure out what to do there. That won’t be fun at all, but looking at the incoming class of players will be.

We do that here with this 7-round mock draft that attempts to fill as many of the remaining holes as possible.
