The season finale for the Cleveland Browns is a battle for Ohio and a look at what to expect next season. This game is important to the many different people on the Cleveland sideline because it could determine their future.

It’s another week 17 and the Cleveland Browns have been eliminated from playoff contention like every other year this decade. But this one feels different because there were expectations this time.

There was a lot of talk in the offseason about how well general manager John Dorsey did building this team and some people even picked them to win the division. But they have fallen well short of that as their season has been filled with controversy.

But they can try to exit the season on a high note with a win over the worst team in the NFL, the Cincinnati Bengals who have already secured the No. 1 overall pick in the draft this coming April.

Both teams will be playing for pride at this point and the Browns may be playing for the job of head coach Freddie Kitchens whose inexperience has cost the Browns in critical spots this season.

This is also the last game on the contracts of several key players who don’t have an extension including middle linebacker Joe Schobert and left tackle Greg Robinson, those are two important positions.

This should be a showcase for the Browns defense, the Bengals have scored the least amount of points in the league. Their rushing attack isn’t good and they have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL.

The Browns played a poor defense last week in the Arizona Cardinals and they played maybe their worst game of the year. They will have to run the ball and control time of possession because Cleveland isn’t built to win a shootout and Cincinnati has been in several times this year.

The Browns are the better team and already won this matchup a couple of weeks ago. But we all know that the better team doesn’t always win. Here is a couple of things to look out for.
