The Cleveland Browns wrap up their 2019 season with a trip down I-71 to face the holders of the first overall pick in the 2020 draft, the Cincinnati Bengals. We highlight four under the radar players to watch for this Sunday.

The Cleveland Browns appear to be ready to put the hay in the barn and leave the 2019 campaign behind them. There is one game separating them from the offseason and that happens to be the 93rd Battle of Ohio. The Browns were able to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in their last meeting three weeks ago by a score of 27-19. Unfortunately, that was also their last victory.

Neither team has anything of significance to play for this week. The Browns loss to the Ravens in week 16 cemented that the team would miss the playoffs for the 17th straight year, and the Bengals were able to lock up the number one overall draft pick in the 2020 draft with an overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins in week 16. All bets are off for which team has more motivation heading into this interstate matchup.

A win for the Browns would give them a 4-2 divisional record, which would be a slight improvement from their 3-2-1 divisional record from 2018. A loss could give the Browns as high as the 10th overall pick in the 2020 draft. Those are the stakes this Sunday, not exactly the week 17 that the Browns and their fans envisioned coming into the season.

A lone bright spot, Nick Chubb can bring home the first rushing title for the Browns since 1968, when Leroy Kelly led the league with 1,239 yards, this Sunday. Chubb, who is undeniably the MVP of 2019, isn’t concerned with personal accolades. This award is as much for the Browns offensive line as it is for Chubb. He acknowledged that the rushing title would be nice, but that he would gladly trade it for the team to have success. Clearly, the award couldn’t go to a better man than Chubb.

With the sands slipping through the hourglass and the guillotine hanging over his neck, head coach Freddie Kitchens should be coaching for his coaching life. You would never know that by judging Kitchens’ demeanor. He believes his Browns’ team ‘is close’. The real question should be, what are the Browns close to? Kitchens may not be able to save his job this Sunday, but he could definitely lose it this week with a mediocre or flat-out poor performance.

The Browns front office is already on to next season as they should be. With no postseason in play, John Dorsey and company need to figure out who they plan on bringing back as well as who they are bringing in to be a part of this organization. That includes coaches and players alike. This is the last live audition. Below we highlight four under the radar players that could make a case to a part of the team going forward.
