Odell Beckham, Jr. was seen throwing wads of cash at LSU players and now the school is investigating the Cleveland Browns wide receiver

After the LSU Tigers won the NCAA Championship, there were a couple of high-profile Cleveland Browns players who were ecstatic. Odell Beckham, Jr. and Jarvis Landry were teammates with the Tigers and were on-hand for the team’s win and subsequent celebration.

But OBJ did more than celebrate as he was seen handing cash to some of the LSU players after the win. Not long after the game, there were officials from the program saying the money was fake, but the incident won’t go away that easy.

According to reports, LSU is investigating whether or not OBJ was actually handing money out to the collegiate athletes, which would be a violation of NCAA rules.

LSU investigating whether Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. gave players cash after National Championship win — Natasha Anderson, FOX 8

"“LSU officials originally said the money was fake; however, the school’s athletic department said on Wednesday that new information suggests that may not be the case.”"

Joe Burrow had no problem saying he was no longer a student-athlete, so he could be honest and admitted the money was his while on ‘Pardon My Take’. That surely won’t sit well with LSU and it’s just another case of OBJ making headlines for unnecessary reasons.

Reports: Andrew Berry ‘weary’ about Cleveland Browns’ GM job because of frequent front office turnover — Matthew Florjancic, WKYC.com

"“I’m told there is league-wide interest in Andrew Berry,” Dustin Fox, the afternoon drive co-host on Cleveland’s 92.3 The Fan, wrote on Twitter earlier this week. “He does not HAVE to take the Browns GM position. He has options and is also weary based off of what happened in the past.”"

It’s really hard to look at this quote and be upset with Andrew Berry. The turnover has been unreal and he was in Berea before, so he saw it first-hand.

"“Chico talks with Daryl Ruiter about the Browns’ search for a general manager, why their reputation could impact the search and so much more.”"

It’s a real thing that GMs are weary of the Browns job. This is a problem Jimmy Haslam has created with his quick trigger finger.
