No. 4: D’Qwell Jackson (2011)

The only repeat player on this list is linebacker D’Qwell Jackson, who had two monster years back to back in 2011 and 2012 for the Browns. The fact that he missed all of 2010 with a shoulder injury makes his numbers look even more impressive.

In 2011, D’Qwell Jackson totaled a whopping 158 tackles, 116 solo tackles, an interception, three passes defended, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, 3.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and eight quarterback hits. Before there was Joe Schobert racking up tackles, there was D’Qwell Jackson flying all over the field for the Browns making plays.

As previously mentioned, it was a crime that D’Qwell Jackson never made a pro bowl with these type of numbers. When looking at the 2011 Pro Bowl roster, he had more solo tackles than some of the pro bowl linebackers had tackles overall.

Following those two breakout seasons, the Browns kept Jackson for just one more season. He was released ahead of the 2014 season despite recording 141 tackles the year prior.

Unsurprisingly, there were many suitors lining up and he wound up signing with the Indianapolis Colts. Jackson played three more seasons in the league, all with Indy and had another 366 tackles in that span.
