The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including Kevin Stefanski’s coaching staff starting to come together.

The Cleveland Browns were the last team in the NFL with a head coaching vacancy before the team hired Kevin Stefanski. The other teams who filled their vacancies before the Browns had a jump on building their coaching staff.

The expectation for Stefanski is that he would bring in several coaches he was familiar with from his time with the Minnesota Vikings. However, Stefanski is taking a wide look at coaches and is not digging into his Minnesota roots.

One week after the Browns hired Stefanski, the rookie head coach’s coaching staff is starting to come together. However, he is not completely overhauling the staff, as he will be keeping some coaches from the 2019 staff.

They replaced him with Ron Rivera."

The hiring of Bill Callahan will be important for the Browns as they attempt to turn around the offensive line after last season. Known for being one of the best offensive line coaches in the NFL, Callahan has helped several offensive linemen improve their technique to build reliable offensive lines.

Stefanski helped Kirk Cousins excel in 2019, and there is reason to believe Stefanski’s offense will help Mayfield have a turnaround season after his sophomore struggles.

Browns should make hiring Gary Kubiak a priority
