The 2010s are in the books so let’s take a look at the Cleveland Browns top defensive players from the decade.

The Cleveland Browns All-Decade team rolls on with the defensive side of the ball. Some really good individual seasons were posted by Browns players over this past decade.

However, the longevity of players on this list was almost non-existent. The constant turnover of coaches and general managers led to a continuous flow of players in and out of Berea. Not the less, we provide for you the All-Decade defensive team for the Cleveland Browns.

Defensive End: Myles Garrett

Myles Garrett‘s name on this list does not come as a surprise to anyone. The No.1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Garrett has lived up to expectations through three NFL Seasons. In 37 career games, he has recorded 30.5 sacks and six forced fumbles. Garrett was named to the 2017 All-Rookie team and selected to the 2018 Pro Bowl.

Aside from his helmet incident this past season, Garrett has been and excellent teammate and has done some very good charitable work in the community. Garrett has a chance to become a Hall of Fame player if he keeps on his current trajectory.

Defensive End: Jabaal Sheard

Jabaal Sheard makes the list with 23 career sacks in a Browns uniform and seven forced fumbles. Appearing in 61 games for the Browns from 2011 to 2014, Sheard went on to win a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in 2015.

Defensive Tackle: Ahtyba Rubin

Ahtyba Rubin played in Cleveland from 2008 through 2014 and was one of former GM Phil Savage’s finest draft picks. With 12 career sacks as a Cleveland Brown and 338 tackles, Rubin was best known for his run-stuffing abilities as playing nose guard.

Defensive Tackle: Larry Ogunjobi

Unfortunately for the Browns, defensive tackle was not that strong of a position for them during this past decade. Larry Ogunjobi gets the nod here over Danny Shelton and Phil Taylor as the former third-round draft pick in 2017 has 12 career sacks and 85 tackles in 45 total games.
