Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt was pulled over on Tuesday afternoon for speeding and the police found a small amount of marijuana in his car.

Kareem Hunt was one of the stand out players on the Cleveland Browns that didn’t make any negative headlines this season which was surprising given his past. That is all over now as he was pulled over by police on Tuesday is Rocky River,Ohio; on Cleveland’s west side.

The Rocky River police stopped Hunt for speeding the on the interstate and smelled a strong odor of marijuana promoting them to search the vehicle when they found marijuana to be hidden in three different places in Hunt’s backpack.

There is no report on exactly how much it was but it wasn’t enough for him to be cited for, he was cited for the speeding however.

Hunt is a restricted free agent this offseason and probably will be back with Cleveland despite this hiccup but it not a good look for a player with the history Hunt has. He was suspended for the first eight games this season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy for an incident that happened in a Cleveland hotel. Hunt is on video arguing with a women then shoving her to the ground and getting in her face.

He was not cited for the marijuana but Browns front office probably hope that he would have better judgment.Hunt really seemed to be turning a corner, let’s hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.

This should not stop the Browns from pursuing Hunt in free agency, once again he is a restricted free agent so Cleveland will have the right to match any offer he receives.

Pairing him with Nick Chubb would be great but I’m sure new head coach Kevin Stefanski doesn’t want to deal with his players making bone head mistakes away from the field.
