As Senior Bowl Week wraps up, we take a look at the top three prospects who’ve likely landed on the Cleveland Browns draft board.

Despite there being one major game left in the 2019-2020 NFL campaign, draft season is already in full swing for the Cleveland Browns. The first major stop along the way is this weekend’s Senior Bowl and the week of practice that has led up to the game itself.

This has been and will be the first chance for players to prove themselves to their possible suitors. Some athletes have seen their stock diminish against top competition and some have taken flight up the draft boards of several teams due to performance and coachability.

Taking all of this into account, along with rumors that have already begun circulating, I’ve compiled a list of three players I believe have a great shot at crossing the stage in Las Vegas to become the newest members of the brown and orange.

Josh Jones, OT, Houston

While I personally think Mekhi Becton is the best overall fit for the Browns offense at left tackle, there are some that worry he will not have the footspeed needed to dominate at the NFL. There’s also a very real possibility he may be taken before the Browns pick in the tenth spot.

Josh Jones has become a bit of a cult pick with us here at Dawg Pound Daily. While his impressive tape does occasionally show fundamental weaknesses, his performance this week in Senior Bowl practices has been phenomenal.

Jones has absolutely dominated the trenches and made some of the best edge rushers in the nation look foolish. Jones’ incredible power is now coupled with much improved fundamental footwork and leverage. It’s honestly hard to find a bad snap from the 6-foot-7, 310-pound lineman who came into this week projected somewhere between a second or thirds round selection.

The Houston Cougar has now made a strong case, pending Senior Bowl game day and NFL Combine performance, of being a top ten pick in the draft.
