Top 3 Cleveland Browns Senior Bowl draft prospects
Kyle Dugger, S, Lenoir-Rhyne
The Cleveland Browns have two amazing young corners in Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams. The safety positions are a lot more in flux.
There’s been quite a lot of shuffling at strong safety and with a new front office taking control, it’s currently unclear if veteran free safety Damarious Randall will return to the team for the 2020 season.

For the Browns to play a style of defense that benefits the strengths of the talent on their roster, talented safeties who can perform against the run and pass, especially against tight ends, is an absolute must.
While there are quite a few mock drafts suggesting Minnesota Golden Gophers safety Antoine Winfield Jr. may be high on the Browns draft board, his height when going up against AFC North receivers and tight ends worries me.
Kyle Dugger has quickly impressed scouts with both his film and his performance at the Senior Bowl practices. So much so, that the division III prospect is believed to be the first or second safety off the board by some scouts.
For the Browns to land him, Dugger will either have to be the product of a trade back into the first round (which is highly unlikely given other options at safety) or 6-foot-2, 215-pound strong safety falling to the second round. I think Lenoir-Rhyne product has such a developed skill set that he’s a day one starter at either safety spot for the Browns and has to be the pick if he’s available in the second round.
