Daily Dawg Tags: Cleveland Browns dysfunction continues thanks to Jimmy Haslam

The Daily Dawg Tags look at how Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam continues to be his own worst enemy, causing dysfunction around his franchise
Jimmy Haslam loves the Cleveland Browns. His actions aren’t always indicative of this, but the reason he makes the impulsive — and often unexplainable — moves he does is because he just wants the team that he loves to be a winner.
Unfortunately, we don’t always treat the things we love the right way. And that’s been the case with Haslam, and today’s featured article in the Daily Dawg Tags looks at how the dysfunction around this team is caused by him being so ‘hands-on’ — which brings up one classic movie scene from the film ‘Tommy Boy’.
In this movie, Chris Farley is trying to learn to be a salesman and decides to explain to a poor waitress why he “sucks as a salesman.” Tommy, played by Farley, compares his sale to a biscuit (which he claims is a pet) and completely destroys it.
Eventually, Tommy learns to treat his ‘sales’ the right way and saves Callahan Auto Parts. Maybe the same can happen for Jimmy, but so far, that has not been the case as he still keeps blowing up his biscuit on an annual basis.
That story and more can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.

"“From what it sounds like, the last person that talks to Jimmy Haslam is going to have the edge in terms of getting what they want,” Wilson said."
There’s a lot to unfold in this article, which is looking at what Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports had to say about Haslam and how he runs the team. The most frustrating thing for fans is the indecision and the flip-flopping, which can be summed up by this statement which claims whoever talks to the owner last is able to sway him. That has to be concerning as Haslam again wants the GM and coach to report to him. We want there to be change, but there may never be with Jimmy around.
