After going 6-10 last season, the Cleveland Browns are back at work trying to figure out how to build a winner. They can be helped with these 5 breakout candidates.

Entering the 2020 season, there are several big names on the Cleveland Browns roster. Guys such as Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham, Jr., Denzel Ward, and Myles Garrett are all-star players.

With that status comes a certain expectation. We all know these guys are capable of putting up big numbers and it becomes a shock if they don’t.

However, the Browns need to have more help this season as they hope to avoid yet another losing campaign. There will be some of the usual suspects they hope to fill in those supporting roles, but they could use the help of a few under the radar breakout candidates.

With that being said, we look at the five most likely breakout stars that no one sees coming.

Honorable Mention: Ricky Seals-Jones Tight End

The reason Ricky Seals-Jones is an honorable mention and not in the top-five is his current contract status. After averaging more than 16-yards per catch on just 14 receptions, Seals-Jones will now be a restricted free agent — meaning he can negotiate with other teams but as long as the Browns place a tender on him, they can match any deal he agrees to.

Cleveland would be wise to retain him considering he showed so much promise in his only season with the team. If they do bring him back, expect RSJ to continue to build his rapport with Baker Mayfield while putting up some impressive numbers.
