The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including Jarvis Landry changing his mind on surgery.
The Cleveland Browns received bad news at the end of the 2019 season when they found out both Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry were debating offseason surgeries. Beckham was certain to have surgery while Landry was considering his options.
Landry decided he did not need surgery on his hip shortly into the offseason, which was important for the Browns. The surgery could have potentially kept Landry out of action for eight months, which would have risked his status at the start of the season.
However, after playing in the Pro Bowl, Landry changed his mind and went ahead with the surgery on his hip. It was a quick turnaround from Landry’s decision to not have surgery and came as quite a surprise.

"The procedure, to shave down some cartilage and remove two pieces of bone embedded in the labrum of his left hip, should have him back on the field at some point during training camp at least on a limited basis."
With the Browns having several issues with chemistry in the offense in 2019, it will be important that Landry will get to work in the offense before the season starts. Although it would have been ideal that Landry had the surgery immediately after the season, there seems to be plenty of time for Landry to recover to be ready for the season.

"“It’s guys that I trust and I think they’re really good teachers,” Stefanski said. “What I’m really excited about, and this goes for the entire staff, is so many of these guys complement each other, whether it’s schematically or personality wise. I think there’s a complementary aspect of this I was really looking for.”"
