1. Kyle Van Noy, New England Patriots

Kyle Van Noy is one of the most intriguing names on this list for a couple of reasons; the team that he comes from, his history and his ability to play in a couple of different spots.

He would be coming over from the New England Patriots where he won a Super Bowl in 2018. He was a former second-round pick of the Detroit Lions in 2014 and was very highly thought of coming out of college. He has played mostly outside linebacker but he has the size and speed to play inside as well.

He doesn’t have flashy stats recording six and a half sacks in 2019 but he started 15 games on one of the best defenses in the league. He is solid in the run game but has a tendency to be blocked by tight ends and players smaller than him.

But he is good blitzing from the middle of the defense and is good at setting the edge. He can get lost in pass coverage sometimes, he only has two interceptions in his entire career.

There is a good chance that he is available if the Patriots decide not to re-sign Tom Brady, players have been staying there for years just for the chance to win championships and if Brady is gone the other players may not feel that way anymore if the best quarterback of all time is no longer under center.

Next. Browns double up on tackle, safety in 7-round mock. dark

Most people may not associate the Browns with winning but this is still one of the most talented rosters in the NFL and if they add some pieces at key positions this could be the contender Van Noy is looking for. Expect him to be available and interested.
