This year’s free agent class has good talent at positions of need for the Cleveland Browns. Here is a list of players they should target this offseason.

The NFL draft is a great way to replenish talent and boost your depth chart in the offseason. The downside is you are not quite sure what you will get in a young player coming into the National Football League. A way to get established players, however, is through free agency.

The Cleveland Browns currently have plenty of needs that can be filled by proven players. The major positions of need include offensive line, safety, linebacker, and defensive line.

Fortunately for the Browns, this is a decent free-agent class. There are not many elite players available, but there is good depth of solid players. The Browns definitely need to do their due diligence on this year’s free agents.

Cleveland has plenty of cap space and has created even more with several veteran players being released or not resigned this offseason. They are certainly in a position to spend money on free agents if they find the right player.

They do have to be careful not to overspend. The Browns have very good young players like Myles Garrett, Nick Chubb, Denzel Ward, and Baker Mayfield who are going to need contract extensions in the near future.

Free agency starts on March 18th this year so the Browns have a few weeks before they can sign players. Once free agency hits, Cleveland could very well sign one or a few of these players to make their roster much improved.
