4. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Safety

Safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has had an up and down start to his career. He was highly sought after out of the University of Alabama and started out his career fairly hot earning Pro Bowl honors in his third season with the Green Bay Packers.

Since then he has been traded to the Washington Redskins, released by the Redskins, and then signed to a one year prove-it deal with the Chicago Bears for $3 million.

If Cleveland can get him for anything close to $3 million again, they absolutely should. Clinton Dix has had at least one interception in every year of his career, with a high of five. He has also never had less than 78 tackles in a season.

The Browns have a massive void at safety. Damarious Randall is likely on the way out, and veteran Morgan Burnett coming off an Achilles injury is not the answer. That leaves just Sheldrick Redwine who had a decent rookie year.

Clinton-Dix can come in and provide immediate production and veteran leadership. He does not have much leverage for a large contract so he could be a great value add for Cleveland. The Browns would get a solid player to help in both the run and pass game, as well as mentor the young safeties on the team or that may be added in the draft. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is definitely someone that needs looked at by the Browns.
