There are a ton of colleges in Ohio and so much talent comes out of these schools. We all know about the high-profile players that come out of Ohio State but this lists with highlight some of the “other guys” from around the Buckeye state in the 2020 NFL draft that the Cleveland Browns should consider

There is some great college football that is played in Ohio, you have the big dog in Ohio State who reigns supreme as the best but you have a lot of other quality football programs in the state. Two of the top three prospects in the draft come from Ohio, Chase Young, and Jeff Okudah. Even the top prospect, Joe Burrow, started his career in the Buckeye state and is from southern Ohio.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t other homegrown kids that the Cleveland Browns should consider in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft.

Some of the best players in the league played college football in Ohio like Travis Kelce who went to the University of Cincinnati and Browns running back Kareem Hunt who is the all-time leading rusher at the University of Toledo.

But we all know that those guys are studs and there isn’t much more to be said about them. There are so many other talented players from these schools that can get overshadowed by the star power at the top.

Nobody on this list is likely to be picked in the first round for one reason or another but they could be a value pick later for Cleveland who need talent at almost every position. Rookies in the NFL have an impact unlike any other sport.

These are value picks because Cleveland won’t have to pick them early so they can still add high value with their first couple of picks, especially at tackle with the number ten overall pick.

This will be a big draft for first time General Manager Andrew Berry because the Browns have a talented roster that underachieved last season. If Berry adds talent in the right places this team should improve.
