Draft prospects Cleveland Browns have met with
By Mitch Zoloty
Now that the NFL draft combine has passed, the Cleveland Browns front office has gotten a great look at the upcoming draft prospects. Here is a list of some draft prospects they have met with so far.
The folks over at NFL Trade Rumors have done some great work recently, including putting together a tracker of all the draft prospects and the teams they meet with. According to their tracker, the Cleveland Browns have met with a few prospects so far, most of them being offensive tackles.
The list of prospects that the Browns have met so far according to Logan Ulrich at nfltraderumors.co is as follows:
- Quarterback James Morgan (FIU)
- Offensive Tackle Mehki Becton (Louisville)
- Offensive Tackle Josh Jones (Houston)
- Offensive Tackle Andrew Thomas (Georgia)
- Offensive Tackle Jedrick Wills (Alabama)
- Offensive Tackle Austin Jackson (USC)
- Offensive Tackle Cameron Clark (UNC-Charlotte)
- Offensive Tackle Tristan Wirfs (Iowa)
- Defensive Lineman Doug Costin (Miami (OH))
This is a pretty intriguing list of prospects, as the Browns are prioritizing the offensive line, at least that is what has been reported. With a plethora of different options in this year’s draft class, the Browns only have seven draft picks to try to patch up any holes they see in their roster.
This insight in who the Browns are currently looking at should be a good indicator of who they could potentially bring in through the draft. With that being said, let’s take an in-depth look at each of these prospects and what roles they could play with the Cleveland Browns in the future — as well as what round they could potentially be available in.
