The Cleveland Browns are set to go shopping in free agency when it begins on March 18th. Here are three players who the Browns could sign.

The Cleveland Browns have some major holes to fill on its roster when free agency begins on March 18. With needs on every level of the defense, offensive line and wide receiver, the Browns can choose to plug a few of those leaks with some free agents.

It is imperative that the Browns sign at least three or four starting caliber players during this free agency season. With so many starting jobs open, and a lot of cap room, the Browns must be players in the open market.

Here are three players that should be apart of the Browns roster come the start of next season:

No. 3: Shaq Lawson, DE

The Buffalo Bills did not pick up the fifth-year option on Shaq Lawson, making him a free agent. He would bring some very solid run stopping abilities with him to the Browns as well as an above average pass rush.

Couple him with Myles Garrett and the former first round draft pick out of Clemson could have a chance at doing some damage. Of course we thought that last season when the Browns traded for Olivier Vernon, but hopefully Lawson would be able to produce.

Lawson had 6.5 sacks last season with Buffalo and had 13 tackles for loss. He also was not used a whole bunch as he only saw 47 percent of the teams defensive snaps. Lawson was sure to point that out as he tweeted this on Monday evening:

It would be interesting to see what Lawson could do playing next to an elite pass rusher while also seeing a larger percentage of his team’s defensive snaps. This would be an intriguing signing as Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski surely will be looking to add a pass rusher or two this offseason.
