More honorable mentions: Myles Garrett

A current Cleveland Brown who was drafted first overall in the NFL draft may eventually crack this list as a top-five Browns’ selection. Defensive end Myles Garrett is entering his fourth season with the Browns and has been an absolute force thus far in his career.

The Browns drafted Garrett in 2017 first overall despite desperately needing a quarterback. The selection has certainly paid off as Garrett is simply unstoppable.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

Through three seasons he has tallied 30.5 sacks, 32 tackles for loss, and six forced fumbles. Garrett makes the defense immeasurably better. He neutralizes an entire half of the offensive line and causes double teams and schemes to slow him down.

Myles Garrett needs to be a Cleveland Brown for a long time. He is a very rare talent on the defensive line and we cannot afford to let him go. He can continue to get better with technique and form to get in the backfield.

The third-year pro was making a case for defensive player of the year early in the 2019 season before he was suspended for the rest of the year for his involvement in the brawl with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

If he can continue to produce for the Browns and rack up numbers as well as contribute to Browns’ success, he can be an all-time Cleveland legend. He is in for a tremendous career, and could definitely crack the list of Browns’ best draft picks.
