The Cleveland Browns were active during the first wave of free agency. However, there are still some players available they should target.

Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry has not been afraid to be active during his first run as the lead decision-maker. Berry signed 10 players during the first week of free agency, including two players who were considered the best at their position.

It is clear that Berry was not satisfied with the depth on Cleveland’s roster when he took over, as building up the roster’s depth has been a focal point for the young general manager. As he said he would be, Berry has been aggressive in free agency.

Following the first week of free agency, most of the top free agents have been scooped up. After the initial rush to sign players, the free agent market has slowed down as team’s reconfigure their offseason plans following the first wave of free agency.

The Browns may not be as busy during the second wave of free agency because of their series of moves in the first week of the new league year. However, there are still some holes on the roster the team will need to address.

The free agent market may be slim pickings for starting-caliber players, but there are still free agents who can play major roles for the Browns. Although Cleveland may not want to use a significant amount of their cap space on depth, they still need to build up their roster.

Since the Browns want to build a complete 53-man roster, they should consider targeting these three free agents during the second-wave of free agency.
