With 84 tackles, three and a half sacks and 10 tackles for a loss, Quarterman earned a third-team All-ACC nod for his performance as a true freshman.
For his career, Quarterman registered 356 tackles, 12 sacks and 46.5 tackles for a loss as he earned First-Team All-ACC honors in both his junior and senior seasons.
As a four-season starter and a punishing tackler, Quarterman would bring an immediate physical presence to this Browns defense.
"“Four-year starter and team leader with a physical demeanor and impressive level of production. Quarterman is durable and dependable in the middle of the defense.” –Lance Zeirlien, NFL Network"
For everything Quarterman excels at, he does have some faults. Lance Zeirlien noted that he lacks ideal linebacker speed and lacks movement fluidity when changing directions — which is why he’s being considered a late-round prospect.
But his production does speak volumes as he could become a very nice two-down linebacker for Cleveland. He is projected to be anywhere from a fourth to seventh-round NFL draft pick.
