The Cleveland Browns have players on their roster who will absolutely be having a make it or break it seasons.

The Cleveland Browns have a talented roster, new rookie head coach, and a new coaching staff yet again. At this time last year, the entire NFL world was talking about how the Cleveland Browns could make a Super Bowl run.

We know how that played out. It was a sad season to deal with as fans, but it would be stunning to see it a second time with a more qualified rookie head coach and a different atmosphere surrounding the team. However, there are players on the roster who will need to have a good season in 2020.

Who would be on your list? What nine players have to have a good season in order to save their career, for one reason or another? Would Baker Mayfield make the list? Did his poor season last year do it and now wish he was gone? Is he not the future for this franchise and should be shipped out? Shoot, he had a typical year in this league being in a sophomore slump. Nonetheless he did make the list.

There are a slew of players that need to have solid years in order to maintain their careers in the NFL: David Njoku, Sheldon Richardson, Olivier Vernon, Kareem Hunt, Larry Ogunjobi, Damion Ratley, Chris Hubbard, Kendall Lamm, and Mayfield.

Every one of these players must have a successful season in order to preserve their career in the NFL. The range is wide from needing a single good season to show their talent to being able to show they can get back on track from their once good seasons after suffering setbacks.

Here is a look at why each player is entering a make or break season and what they need to do to improve.
