3. Troy Dye, Oregon
It goes without saying that the Browns need help at the linebacker position before the start of the 2020 NFL season gets underway. Current Browns linebacker Mack Wilson is set to have a monster year after what was overall a very impressive rookie campaign — which was a great thing to see after he was added by way of the fifth-round of the draft.
Although Troy Dye is overall a slimmer version of what you would think a typical NFL linebacker would look like, you can never go wrong with a high producing guy when it comes to being all over the field and racking up the tackles. Dye was a Freshman All American as well as an honorable mention All Pac-12 honors.
Dye is known for his high football IQ, quickness as well as making sure all the guys in the locker room are staying low and not pressing in big moments. More than most teams across the NFL, that is something that the Browns need more than almost anyone.
With all of the talent that the Browns have across the roster, bringing in guys who can keep a locker room in check all while being focused on the task at hand is something that they not only desperately need, but something that would also be very impressive coming from a rookie.
