No. 2: Andrew Thomas OT, Georgia

The more and more that this draft process plays out, the more and more Andrew Thomas is becoming a legitimate contender for No. 10 overall. Thomas is a four-year starter in the SEC and played against top edge-rushers throughout his entire career. He absolutely has the size, strength and athleticism to be a very good starting tackle in the NFL for years to come.

The first team AP All-American had an excellent campaign in 2019 as he started 13 games at left tackle for the Bulldog and he completely dominated an excellent pass rusher in LSU’s K’Lavon Chaisson in the SEC Championship game.

If Thomas is available at No. 10 it is going to be extremely hard for Cleveland to pass on him and say no as there could be only one player standing in his way of being the Browns top pick.

No. 1: Isaiah Simmons LB, Clemson

Isaiah Simmons is the best defensive player in this draft not named Chase Young. And if he slips to No.10 overall, Cleveland needs to select him. The most dominant player in the ACC last season, Simmons registered 104 tackles including 18.5 for loss, eight sacks and three interceptions.

This hybrid safety-linebacker would be the absolute killer playmaker on defense that the Browns have been searching for in pairing with Myles Garrett. Size, speed, athleticism and play-making abilities, Simmons is a player whom it is hard to find any flaws in his game.

While some say its left tackle or bust for Cleveland at No. 10, it would be extremely difficult to pass on a talent such as Isaiah Simmons.
