Nick Chubb has had some memorable games in the NFL as a member of the Cleveland Browns. Here we revisit the top five games in his young career.
There is no question Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb has had an excellent start to his career and an enormous impact on the Browns offense. When he was chosen 35th overall in the 2018 draft, there were high hopes but some mixed feelings on the selection.
He has, however, been the one true steady piece of the offense the last two years. In fact, most Browns fans want Chubb to get more carries and allow the offense to open up more. Undoubtedly, he has proven to be an absolute steal at the 33rd selection by previous general manager John Dorsey and the Cleveland Browns thus far.
Chubb is a very difficult runner to take down and hardly is tackled by the first defender. He has brought big-play ability to the running back position that the Browns have frankly lacked for quite some time. He is one of the most talented backs Cleveland has ever had.
In this article, we will visit Nick Chubb’s top five games as a Cleveland Brown.
Honorable mention: Browns at Arizona Cardinals – Dec. 15, 2019
The Browns had a disappointing showing in this one but Nick Chubb still shined like he always does. In the contest, Chubb had 127 yards on 17 carries and a touchdown. His 7.5 yards per carry against the Cardinals was his second-highest in a game in 2019.
His touchdown was a big one, coming from 33 yards out in the second quarter to cut into the Cardinal lead and make it 14-7. That score allowed Cleveland to stay in the game when it could have gotten worse. Ultimately though, a poor game for the Browns, but still solid work from Chubb.
Let’s look at his best five games.
